Jenine Desiderio slams an event host for not knowing Janella Salvador’s name

Jenine Desiderio, singer and mother of the teen star Janella Salvador, let her frustration out about an event host who forgot the name of her daughter during a show on her Facebook account.

“We do not expect to be recognized by all of mankind. But when you're a host it's your job to at least know the name of the artist you will be introducing...even just the first name..esp if she currently appears in your brand's tvc & has done so for almost 3 years.... Just sayin' [sic]” Jenine wrote.

She didn’t name the host but in the comments section Jenine revealed that the incident occurred at an event for a shampoo brand that Janella’s endorsing.

The former Miss Saigon added that the host could have asked who Janella was before he went on stage.

“Ok lang naman kung di niya kilala si Jea (Janella’s nickname) pero since may portion si Jea na siya ang mag-iintroduce di ba dapat inalam muna niya ang name bago siya sumampa ng stage…? Hindi yung kaharap na niya tapos hindi niya alam anong itatawag…” she posted.

Most of her daughter’s supporters agreed with Jenine, saying the host should have researched as it is part of his job to know who he is introducing.
