“Medyo I feel old but I feel experienced, I feel na nabigyan kami ng ASAP ng recognition, yung mga boy groups noon, ‘di mauuso ngayon yung mga ganyang trend, so masaya sa akin yung feeling. And of course yung ASAP parte ‘yan ng buhay ko dahil every weekend dati kami andyan, so masaya sa akin bumalik sa stage na yun to perform again kasama yung mga dating kasamahan din namin. It’s more than the number itself, sa backstage pa lang yung mga kasama naming, masaya na makita sila,” he related. (continued on next page)

“It’s not the story of the SAF 44, but it coincided lang with the event. Sa April na namin ito ipapalabas, so yung mga tao na naging curious or naging aware sa buhay sundalo because of the SAF 44, magiging curious sa film namin. But we are not doing their story. This is actually dedicated to them,” he said.

“Very kakaibang role para sa akin ito. First time ko na nag-play ng role as a marine. Mga roles ko before parang mga teen roles or kontrabida. Ito first time na dumaan kami sa training ng marines para lang sa movie. I’ll be playing the role of Lt. Lawrence Tan, Filipino-Chinese na marine, I came from a well-off family but my heart decided to serve the country.”
