It seems that Julia Barretto’s upcoming debut celebration would truly be a memorable one especially now that she’s on good terms with father Dennis Padilla.

After months of being estranged, Julia on Wednesday evening, posted on her Instagram account a photo of her doing a wacky pose with her comedian father.

She even accompanied it with the caption: “Papa being his comedian self.”

Fans of the actress rejoiced because of the reconciliation that the photo already has over 23,000 likes and 755 comments as of this writing.

Most of the fans expressed happiness for them.

“I want to believe this is real because oh my gosh I am so happy for Dennis!!” a commenter posted.

While another pointed out, “Ur papa is always ur papa..happy ur already in goodterms!”

Another follower of the young actress said, “All the wounds healed in God's perfect time! Yeah, so happy for this family.”

It may be recalled that Julia made headlines early last month following reports that she snubbed her father at gathering.

While she didn’t really addressed the issue, Julia, took to her Twitter account to thank her fans who have “not judged” her despite the rumor.

Prior to this incident, the rift between Julia and father was believed to have started when the former filed a petition to changer her last name from Baldivia (Dennis’ real last name) to Barretto.

A pained Dennis in an interview mid-last year recalled about when he received his petition and his initial reaction to it. Although he initially thought to just agree with it, Dennis eventually filed a counter petition.
