Ellen Adarna refuses to comment on rumors linking her to Gwen Zamora’s ex

Kapamilya star Ellen Adarna has opted to keep mum over recent rumors that she is going out with the former boyfriend of her best friend Gwen Zamora.

“I’d rather not talk about it, yet,” said the Pasion de Amor actress said in an interview at Line’s, the messaging application, recently-concluded party.

Clarifying her current status, Ellen said, “I’m not seeing anyone. I’m going out on dates, plural. But I’m not exclusive with anyone.”

Almost two weeks ago, photos of Ellen with Gwen’s ex-boyfriend Raymund Romualdez emerged which immediately sparked rumors that the two are now going out.

While Gwen and Ellen have both very vocal about being the best of friends in the industry, netizens began wondering whether the latter’s involvement with Raymund has affected their friendship.

This was answered by Gwen herself through an Instagram post a couple of days ago with the caption “FYI I still love this gal!”

When a follower of hers even pointed out something about Ellen, Gwen maintained her stance.

Ellen, for her part, echoed what Gwen said and claimed that they are “okay” and they even saw each other a couple of days prior to the interview.

News of Ellen being single only got confirmed early this month with the actress even revealing that she want to have a baby soon.

To this she said, “Hindi nila alam na mahirap akong tao kaya regret na lang sila if kami magkatuluyan.”

The Cebuana beauty was in a relationship with businessman Raoul Olbes for almost two years.

“Oo kasi hello as a boyfriend dapat lang naman na kahit once a month [hinihintay niya ako kahit madaling araw after taping]. In love rin naman ako sa kanya. I mean hello, matagal tagal rin ‘yun. Almost two years is a long time. So ‘yun that time I was really in love also,” she explained.

Unfortunately, Ellen admitted that the relationship ended because “Wala lang, I fell out of love.”

As of the moment, Ellen wants to enjoy being single and as she says “selfish.”

“Masaya maging single kasi walang stress. I mean you can go anytime you want, you can do whatever you want. Walang pumipigil sayo. Or hindi man pumipigil, you still have to think of your partner. You can’t be selfish like that. Wala, I’m selfish right now and I have three more years to be selfish. Your 20s are your selfish years so you should enjoy it,” she casually said.

But it doesn’t mean that she’s closing her doors. “Hindi ko naman iniisip eh tsaka wala pa actually.”

If someone would make her rethink her decision to stay single, Ellen said the person would have to be: “Matangkad. Mahilig ako sa good boys eh, hindi ako mahilig sa bad boys. And hard-working and caring ‘yun lang. Kung gwapo okay na plus points na ‘yun pero hindi naman ako masyadong naghahanap ng kagwapuhan, stress.”
