Five unexpected moments at Alex Gonzaga’s Unexpected Concert

Alex Gonzaga’s first-ever concert, AG from the East: The Unexpected Concert was held last night, April 25 at the Araneta Center.
It was not just the usual musical concert as Alex injected humor to each of her production numbers and spiels with guests.
1. Alex’s wardrobe malfunction

During the medley of songs from her I am Alex G album, Alex’s top came loose and the staff had to go up the stage three times to fix it.
“Ano nga ba nangyari dun? Hindi nai-buhol at nai-lock ng maayos ang bra ko sa pagmamadali kaya ayun, at least ngayon alam niyo na ang size ko,' the actress turned singer joked during her interview after the concert.
Alex added that she really didn’t expect that but the show must go on.
2. Vice Ganda aka Madam Bertud and Alex share love advice
Although they are rumoured to be competing with one another, Vice and Alex shared the stage to give out love advice.
Vice turned into his It’s Showtime persona Madam Bertud while Alex proved she is the best-selling love advice author as they gave wise words to a certified “No Boyfriend Since Birth” girl.
3. Alex and Maja’s Beyonce dance showdown
Alex showed off that she is a total performer by joining Dance Princess Maja Salvador onstage, singing and dancing to Beyonce’s hits.
Alex also surprised everyone by asking Maja how she is doing since her break up. The Bridges of Love star jovially replied, “Eto, maganda!”
4. “Britney Spears,” “Cher” and “Adele’s” special number with “Tina Turner”
It was an ultimate “Hollywood” production number as Your Face Sounds Familiar performers Melai Cantiveros, Jolina Magdangal and Karla Estrada performed on stage as Britney Spears, Cher and Adele respectively. Alex joined in on the fun as she transformed into Tina Turner and sang “Proud Mary.”
5. Alex and sister Toni turn into Disney Princesses
What was once a viral karaoke video, Alex and Toni Gonzaga sang Frozen theme song “Let It Go” live. The two completely imbibed the Disney princesses, wearing even Elsa and Anna costumes.
Toni also shared unexpected stories about Alex. She shared that Alex can be very talkative, that she was pretty unruly in school and that she really likes to have a concert.
