Arci Munoz reveals she almost didn’t become a Kapamilya

<div><img src="" alt="053015-arci_main.jpg" width="400" height="290" align="left" border="0"/>Newest Kapamilya star Arci Munoz revealed in her interview on<i> Aquino and Abunda Tonight</i> that she mulled over quitting the acting world.</div><div><br/></div><div>After 6 years of being a contract star in two networks, Arci had qualms over being a<i> Kapamilya</i> and continuing her craft when she got rejected for a role on <i>Two Wives.</i></div><div><br/></div><div>“After the audition I was really hopeless. I’m not gonna do acting anymore. Kasi yung hair ko din nun (during the audition) platinum blonde, wala akong make up. They called me right after a week. ‘Arci<i> may bago kamin</i>g show. <i>Para lang alam mo, di ka natanggap sa Two Wives. Pero eto may isang s</i>how,<i> gusto mo mag</i>-audition? <i>Pero kelangan ka namin i</i>-make over, <i>di ka pwedeng </i>platinum blonde,’ the actress recalled.</div><div><br/></div><div>She said she agreed to give the second audition, for<i> Pasion De Amor</i>, a try.  It was one last shot before she decided on quitting altogether. Arci added she was planning on concentrating on her band if things did not work out. She eventually landed the role of Norma in the<i> telenovela </i>remake opposite Jake Cuenca.  </div><div><br/></div><div>After getting into a ‘head-banging’ accident last year, Arci shared she is still bothered by the scars on her face. However, host Boy Abunda said it gives her character.</div><div><br/></div><div>As for being dubbed a wild girl, the sexy actress denied she is one.</div><div><br/></div><div>“I’m not really a wild girl.<i> Iba po ang</i> definition <i>ko ng</i> wild girl. I’m just a rock star.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Arci is currently in a stable 2-year relationship with a rock singer.</div>
