It’s no secret that Alex Gonzaga and her sister Toni are very close. In fact Alex is very vocal she will be happy and sad at the same time when Toni and Paul Soriano get married.

At her sister’s wedding last June 12, Alex made every one laugh and cry with her speech for the newlyweds.

“I’ve been asking for this for 8 years to call you, so now, I can finally call you Kuya Paul. Ngayong ikaw na ang makakasama niya every night, gusto niya laging kumakain ng midnight snack. Samahan mo siya lagi. Gusto niya lagi nagluluto ng itlog. Kakatok siya kahit tulog ka, samahan mo siya. Tapos kapag may nashopping siya, ipapakita niya sa yo every day. Be happy, kunwari excited ka. Never be against her, always be on her team,” Alex said, which made both Toni and Paul cry during the reception.

Before the wedding, Alex also gave messages to the couple.

“First time lahat niya gawin, first boyfriend niya, sana lang intindihin niya yung mga kakulangan ng ate ko. Ang ate ko is sobrang bait niya. Sobrang selfless, sobrang patient, sobrang giving,” the actress said to Paul.

The Inday Bote star then became emotional when she began her message for her older sister.

“Gusto ko itong bago mong buhay sobrang maging maligaya ka, maging masaya ka... sana hindi ako mapalitan sa buhay mo as partner mo. Sabi nila hindi naman daw napapalitan yung kapatid as sister.

“27 years ko dito sa mundo, ikaw yung lagi kong kasama. Ikaw yung ka partner ko, tapos ngayon kailangan na kitang i-let go para kay Direk Paul,” she said.
