In the same interview, Lovato recalled how Joe Jonas, her "Camp Rock" leading man and ex-boyfriend in real life, approached her a week before the concert to invite her for the guest appearance.

"Honesty, Joe just asked me like last week, was like, 'Hey, what are you doing next weekend or on the 10th? We would love to have you come and perform 'This Is Me' and 'Wouldn't Change a Thing,'" she recounted.
