Bea Alonzo on relationship with Zanjoe Marudo: ‘We’re okay’

Bea Alonzo and Zanjoe Marudo once again graced the red carpet together at the Star Magic Ball. After Bea’s recent admission that they were facing some challenges in their relationship, the couple happily attended the grand event last Saturday, September 12.

When asked by the media about the state of their relationship, Bea was quick to comment that both of them are actually in a good place now. “We’re okay. We’re happy naman,” the actress said. Recognizing that they have faced some challenges recently Bea added, “Hindi lahat perfect.” But Zanjoe quickly added that both of them are now happy. “Masaya naman ang buhay.” This was affirmed by Bea. When further asked by the media if they are in a happier place right now, the actress briefly responded, “Oo.”

Attending the ball together again, the actress said that she considers it as a blessing, specially since they got to spend time with their Star Magic friends. “I feel so blessed that I’m still here and I get to spend time with all of my friends. It’s exciting actually,” she said. “Siyempre masaya kami na part pa rin kami ng Star Magic Ball dahil from the start nandito na kami so masaya na nandito pa rin kami,” Zanjoe said.

The actor further relayed, “Taon-taon lagi kaming nagi-enjoy kasama ang mga kaibigan namin. At the same time nagkikita lahat ng mga magkakapatid sa Star Magic at hindi lang sa Star Magic pati na rin kapatid sa ABS-CBN.”
