For instance, Jake admitted getting attached to his hairdo. “Na-enjoy ko talaga ‘yung long hair. It was such a hard process to grow it kasi dumaan sa awkward stage ‘yan, niloloko na nga ako ng tao dahil nakakatawa tignan ‘yung buhok ko,” he said, adding that he is having a difficult time deciding to cut it. “Kasama na siya sa character ko at kasama na siya sa pagkatao ko sa ngayon,” the actor shared.

Likewise, Joseph said that his hairstyle helped him internalize his role more. “First time ko rin pong magpahaba ng buhok. Parang never pa kong nagpahaba and sobrang laking tulong nito sa character ko kasi somehow, talagang nafi-feel ko na kahit na wala ako sa shooting, parang feeling ko, ako pa rin si Franco,” he said.

Meanwhile, both actors also shared how they relate their roles into their actual lives.

Playing the role of the eldest Samonte brother Juan, Jake said that he is actually a middle child in between his older brother and baby sister. “For me, parang natutunan ko sa show na ‘to is to really stand and be a kuya,” he said, adding that he also learned to put his family first before himself.

Joseph, on the other hand, said that just like in the teleserye where he is the youngest Samonte brother Franco, he also has two older brothers in real life. “Medyo naging madali po sa’kin kasi meron din talaga akong dalawang kuya. So ‘yun, parang alam ko ‘yung feeling na magkaroon ng dalawang kuya na pagsabihan, na sermonan so somehow, ang laking tulong sa’kin,” he shared.
