Lea Salonga received several hate tweets after sharing her thoughts on Twitter. In her recent post, she said, “Okay lang sa akin ang kababawan, pero hanggang doon na lamang ba tayo? #NagtatanongLangPo.”

Although Lea didn’t mention any names, fans of Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards’ love team aka AlDub reacted and assumed that Lea’s tweet was for them.

The Broadway star later clarified that she wasn’t referring to AlDub and though she knows Alden since they share the same stylist, she’s not fully aware of the AlDub phenomenon.

Lea clarified that she doesn’t watch noontime shows because she’s currently doing “Allegiance” on Broadway.
