Columnist Ricky Lo shared on his column in the Philippine Star today, January 27 that showbiz couple Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano has already parted ways according to an ‘unimpeachable source.’

“Yes, Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin have split up barely three weeks after they came back from a vacation in the States. It seems that while abroad they discovered ‘something’ about each other,” confirmed the source.

The source also told the entertainment writer that there is no third party involved in the split.

Angel and Luis are working together for the first time in the talent search program “Pilipinas Got Talent” and during the Sunday episode of the said show, Angel got emotional when the group ‘Power Duo’ performed.

“She looked sad, and she must have been regretting over something,” said the source.

The source also added that Batangas Governor Vilma Santos “has yet to be informed about Luis and Angel’s break-up.” The Star for All Seasons and Angel worked on the movie “Everything About Her,” which is now showing in major theaters nationwide.

In an interview with the actress during the red carpet premiere of the movie last January 26, Angel explained the reason she was emotional during the Power Duo audition on PGT because their performance really touched her.

'Na touch ako meron something sa puso ko na na trigger nila,' Angel said. She also mentioned that she invited Luis to come with her to the premiere night.
