EXCLUSIVE: Nico Antonio thankful to fans of Tolayts-Tiffany tandem

<div><img src="" alt="021816-nico_main.jpg" width="400" height="290" align="left" border="0"/>In an exclusive interview with <a href="http://Push.com.ph">Push.com.ph</a>, actor Nico Antonio, who is known for his character Tolayts in the series <i>On the Wings of Love,</i> talked about when he started acting and how he got his character in the said series.</div><div><br/></div><div>“I started out acting 18 years old <i>ako</i> when I entered Tanghalang Ateneo.<i> Sa </i>series, <i>kinuha lang ako sa </i>Star Magic <i>parang</i> I was texted by my handler <i>sabi</i> ‘Oh Nico you have a project with Dreamscape it’s called<i> On the Wings of Love </i>with JaDine’ <i>yun na tapos in</i>-explain <i>sa akin ‘yung</i> character<i> ko Tolayts nga ‘yung pangalan</i> and at the same time it is the comic relief of the show.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Since his character is well-loved by the viewers, he was asked who is his inspiration for Tolayts.</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Sina</i> Rene Requiestas idol<i> ko yun kasi napaka</i> natural <i>niya </i>and at the same time si Joey de Leon <i>‘yan, tapos sina</i> Joey Marquez, Bossing Vic Sotto, <i>sina</i> Panchito, Babalu <i>tsaka si </i>Dolphy. <i>Dito sa</i> show <i>lang na ‘to kasi nga bilang</i> comic relief I have to <i>parang may peg ako ‘di ba pero</i> in general, <i>ang dami kasi depende sa genre na nilalabasan ko</i>,” he said</div><div>.</div><div>Nico added that his similarity with Tolayts is that he is <i>“mahiyain na makulit</i>”. Whenever OTWOListas watch the series, they see Tolayts as a perfect lover for Tiffany. Does he have a Tiffany in real life?</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Meron. </i>Six years<i> na </i>almost,” he revealed.</div><div><br/></div><div>Nico expressed his gratefulness for those who warmly accepted his and Bianca Manalo’s tandem in <i>On the Wings of Love.</i></div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Sobrang</i> thankful<i> ako sa pagtanggap niyo sa</i> show<i> namin </i>especially <i>sa </i>tandem <i>namin ni </i>Bianca (Manalo) and if you ever see us in the near future sa mga ibang projects please support us.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Nico is also part of the movie Tandem which is now showing. He will also be a part of the movie<i> Echorsis</i> which also stars comedian John “Sweet” Lapus.</div><div><br/></div>
