Kris Aquino shares what she thinks about same-sex marriage

In one of the recent episodes of Kris TV, Kris Aquino shared her thoughts regarding same-sex marriage.

“Ang feeling ko kasi about that is that for as long as walang ina-agrabyadong kapwa,” Kris stated.

The TV host explained that a lot of people are asking her about her opinion because most of her closest friends are from the LGBT community.

“Ako ang sinasabi ko I believe in love and I also believe in monogamy. So sana kung ‘yun ang choice mo, yeah [isa-isa lang]. Hindi kasi ‘di ba malaking issue ‘yan talaga, right now I don’t think our country is prepared we are not America hindi pa tayo handa sa ganon,” she said to her guests Pooh and K Brosas.

Kris added that she want gay couples to have a right to have a ‘civil union.’

“Ako naman gusto kong mabigyan ng karapatan as far as inheritance is concerned, [legality] yes, ‘yung civil union only because for partners who have been together, nagpundar together for so many years tapos ‘di ba hindi mo pwedeng iwan sa kanya. Pwede sa will pero legally wala nang habol and all eh nagmahalan naman talaga,” the Queen of All Media said.
