Michael Pangilinan denies rumored relationship with Denise Laurel

Young singer-heartthrob Michael Pangilinan did not mince his words when he addressed rumors linking him to his former Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 2 co-participant Denise Laurel.

The Harana Prince was surprised by the Sultry Heiress during the latter part of his second solo concert at the Music Museum titled Michael Really Sounds Familiar. They performed two songs onstage namely “Endless Love” and “If I Ain’t Got You.”

Although he stressed onstage that Denise was one of his YFSF siblings, certain rumors continue to speculate that something is going on between them.

“Ayun thankful ako kasi family ko sila and parang kapatid ko na si Denise. Kung may problema ako kung paano, kasi first baby ko kasi… and siyempre hindi ko alam kung ano ang gagawin ko,” said Michael who confessed that he became a father in September of last year.

He added, “Nagtanong ako sa kanya kasi siya lang ang may baby sa amin sa Your Face eh. ‘Paano ba ang ginagawa ng isang magulang?’ Tinuruan niya ako so lahat ng mga maliliit na bagay.”

Michael stressed that he really appreciates all of Denise’s help even if “‘Yung iba sinasabi ‘Ay sila’ kasi minsan nakikita kami eh, lumalabas kami niyan.

“Oo kahit wala na ‘yung Your Face sobrang… basta thankful ako kasi ‘yung Your Face family ko talagang hindi nawala. Kapag may time kami talagang lumalabas kami. Kasi nagbabasa ako ng Viber thread namin nag-uusap sila ni Sam [Concepcion] tapos sabi niya may sakit siya so magpapahinga lang siya. So akala ‘yung isa pang surprise guest akala ko si Sam. Eh si Sam may trabaho rin.

“Nagsimula kasi ako pumasok sa kanila sila sikat na ako wala pa eh. Hindi nila ako pina-feel na ‘You don’t belong here!’ Hindi ganon. Kaya thankful ako sakanila na nakakilala ako ng mga tunay na tao sa showbiz.

Denise got engaged to cager Solomon Mercado back in 2013. However the couple have opted for a long engagement.

Even though their show ended three months ago, Michael happily shared that they have all managed to remain close to each other.

According to Michael, he considers Sam, Denise, and Kean Cipriano as his closest friends on the program.

Apart from being one of the interpreters on Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs, Michael’s fans can also watch out for his debut movie Pare Mahal Mo Raw Ako which he co-stars with EA Guzman come May 4.
