On Tonight with Boy Abunda, American reggae pop band Emblem3, consisting of brothers Wesley and Keaton Stromberg and friend Drew Chadwick, revealed why the group disbanded in 2014.
Drew said, “To be honest we were locked down in some pretty heavy contracts that were really restricting to our full creative potential as artists and the only way... They basically had control to renew those contracts so the only way to make sure they didn't renew them, which was September 1, 2015, was basically to fake to everyone that we were going to separate, so that they wouldn't renew them. And it worked, September first came, we got back together, started recording music again, now we’re here.”

The band is here in the Philippines to promote their new album Waking Up, which they said also explained their coming back together as a group. They will also be performing in Boracay and at the Mall of Asia.

In the segment Fast Talk, the three chose lights on over lights off. “So I could see what’s going on,” said Drew. The three also chose sex over chocolates.
