However, he clarified that he respects, for example, his parents who have been married for 32 years already. <i>“Sobra akong bilib ‘don pero</i> now with what’s happening?<i> Parang ang daming naghihiwalay, ang damin</i>g broken marriages and broken families, <i>parang </i>I’d rather be with someone without… <i>di ba? Kasi parang ang nangyayari, parang event na lang ‘yung wedding, eh,”</i> he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Enchong added, “It’s absurd that people spend millions and millions of money for you guys to be with each other for the next, what, five years? And then after five years, you file a divorce and you just break everything you said to each other. That I hate so <i>parang </i>I’d rather be with someone (<i>na</i>) let’s be together, happy with our kids,<i> di ba?” </i></div>

Enchong Dee admits while he respects the idea of marriage, it’s just not for him.
