Kiddie rock band and acrobats become 9th and 10th grand finalists of Pilipinas Got Talent

The kiddie rock band The Chosen Ones and Dino Splendid Acrobats take the 9th and 10th spots in the grand finals of Pilipinas Got Talent season 5 as announced on Sunday, May 8.

The Chosen Ones got the highest number of public votes with 39.94%.

Although he got the second highest number of public votes bone breaker Mark Dune Basmayor was bested by male acrobat group Dino Splendid Acrobats when they got the votes of judges Vice Ganda, Angel Locsin and Freddie M. Garcia for “Judges’ Choice.”

Knowing that the acrobatic group already won with 3 out of 4 votes, the last jury member Robin Padilla asked for PGT’s permission to let him keep his vote to himself.

Other semi-finalists for this round included dance partners Twin Brothers, water tank escape artist Vernon de Vera and ‘Lola Rakista’ Dona Aguirre.

The 12 grand finalists for this year’s Pilipinas Got Talent are to be completed next Sunday, May 15.
