Yeng Constantino celebrated her 10th year in the music industry by doing a digital concert that was organized by One Music PH last June 19. This is also One Music’s first digital concert. During the show, aside from singing her hit songs, she also shared some facts about herself while chatting with her fans. 1. She became a fan of herself when she wrote “Hawak Kamay”

Yeng admitted that she was also in awe when she wrote “Hawak Kamay.”

2. “Hawak Kamay” is not the first song she wrote

Yeng used to listen to her dad’s instrumental cassettes in her younger days and from there, she learned to sing and write songs. She wrote songs about everything like Pancit Canton.

3. This is Yeng’s first concert…

…where she just sang all of her original songs. In her past concerts, she did covers of other songs. In her concert, she even did two impromptu songs that are about hugot.

10. Yeng made a timeline for herself

Yeng became independent she was about 21 or 22 years old and only entertained suitors when she turned 23. For Yeng, if she didn’t feel any spark with the guy, she’d have to tell him. But it was different for Yan. She realized that “love is a decision” and if she’ll keep looking for sparks, her relationship would never work.

In the end, Yeng shared that there were people who also doubted her capabilities in music but she overcame these challenges through prayers and also people who believed in her.

She encouraged her Yengsters to surround themselves with people who believe in their talent because if they surround with skeptical people, they might be convinced that they can’t do it.

“If you surround yourself with the people who believe in you, you will start also to believe more in yourself,” she said.
