Danita Paner to have a primetime show on ABS-CBN

TV5 actress Danita Paner will be having her first major project on ABS-CBN soon.

She will be joining Jericho Rosales and Arci Munoz in the upcoming primetime soap, Never, Ever Say Goodbye.

'Ako dito si Laila. Ako dito 'yung kaibigan ni Waldo (played by Jericho) na meron hidden feelings for him,' she told PUSH.com.ph about her new role.

'Hanggang ngayon hindi pa siya nag sisink in na part ako ng show dahil napakaganda po ng story and the cast. First time kong makakatrabaho halos lahat except for Arci (who was also from TV5),' she added.

According to Danita, she already shot some scenes with Jericho. And although feeling nervous, Danita said that she is excited, adding that she is sure to learn a lot from her fellow actors.

Danita also commended their director FM Reyes. 'First time kong makatrabaho ng ganong klaseng direktor. Talagang siya 'yung perfect definition ng totoong set sa taping. Mafi-feel mo agad 'yung tamang emotion and 'yung tamang move for the scene.'

Saying that she only had three days to prepare for her character, Danita said that her role as a nurse requires her to be soft-spoken.

Since she came from TV5, how did the process of transferring to the Kapamilya network go?

'Actually, gradual 'yung paglipat eh. And halos lahat ng kasamahan ko sa TV5, parang nakatrabaho ko na rin dito sa dos which is nakakagulat but in a good way,' she said.

Did she already meet her former on-screen partner JC De Vera at ABS-CBN?

'Oo naman, nagkita na kami ni JC few weeks ago. Maliit ang mundo namin,' she answered.

How did her friends from the other network react about her move?

'Ang daming actually tumawag kasi napapanood nila 'yung recent guestings ko with ABS so syempre nagtatanong sila although hindi pa naman official but ayun okay naman,' she answered.
