Yael Yuzon talks about plans to have a baby

Echoing the answer of his wife, It’s Showtime host and singer Karylle, that they still have work to do before they can have a baby, SpongeCola vocalist Yael Yuzon said during the press conference and listening session of his band’s SINAG and TALA track lists, “Parang chill lang muna kami with the child thing eh. Ang dami pa naming gagawin kasi na other things.”

“We all have like goals and plans pa eh tapos parang hindi ko alam kung paano namin itatraffic ‘yun ‘pag may baby. Parang ‘pag may gig sa gabi, iiwan ko ‘yung baby sa kanya. Puwede kong isama ‘yung baby din pero hindi yata maganda for a baby ‘yung sound ng bass drum mismo,” he added.

Sharing that they have been married for two years, Yael mentioned a project that is in the works for his wife. “At saka may ishu-shoot na TV show din kasi si K sa Singapore in a few weeks so parang ang tagal niyang nandoon ulit,” he said.

Confirming that they do not have plans to have a baby just yet, Yael said, “Hindi ko pa alam eh (kung kailan) pero ‘yun nga, nandoon kami sa goals. Squad goals muna kaming dalawa at saka relationship goals.”

Nonetheless, Yael gamely shared that he has already thought of a name if ever they will have a baby boy. He said he would like to call him “Luke” as he is a Star Wars fan. “Naisip ko na eh. Parang Lucas ‘yung name niya para pwede kong sabihing anak ko si Luke, para ako si Darth Vader. Star Wars fan kasi ako,” he said, adding that Karylle knows about this. “’Pag babae naman, siya bahala ‘dun sa name eh. ‘Pag lalaki, Luke,” Yael added.
