During a break from taping his new movie with Yen Santos under Regal Films, Piolo Pascual took time to attend a special outdoor screening of his Star Cinema film Every Breathe U Take during the HOOQ event last September 24 in BGC. 'I’m really thankful because it’s been a while and having this kind of provider such as HOOQ, ibang klase eh. These days people are into mobile. They get to access it and watch it any time. Times are changing so you got to adapt. It’s nice because they are catering to the local market and starting off with a Filipino film such as this. We’re excited they’re getting content from Star Cinema also and ABS-CBN so maganda yung experience. They already got OTJ and Milan as well so we have the more reasons for people to watch what we have to offer them. Masaya lang kasi nowadays mas konti yung attention span ng tao. So at least whenever they want to watch it you have it for them,” he shared.
During the HOOQ event, the Kapamilya actor admitted he loves to binge watch different TV series when he has free time. 'I’m always out so wala akong chance to just stay at home. Pag nasa bahay ako tulog na lang. So siyempre mas maganda na you can access it at any time kahit wala ka sa bahay. I watch more of series siguro kasi para interesting. You get to watch new materials, new shows. Siguro dun tayo pupunta,” he added.

With his fans hoping to see him go back to doing teleseryes, Piolo admitted he is still open to doing a series with Toni Gonzaga in the future. “Yeah, she’s giving birth any time soon in October so we’ll see what happens after that. Wala pang teleserye for now. We’ll see what will happen in the next couple of months. It remains to be seen. But I’m focusing siguro sa movie muna,” he shared.

Another issue surrounding the matinee idol was about his recent Facebook Live video with Luis Manzano which was taken in the dressing room of their noontime variety show ASAP. The video has been making rounds online with the misleading caption of being a “gay scandal” but in reality Piolo was simply getting dressed for his production number while it was being streamed live on Luis’s profile. 'That’s the first time I experienced that. Hindi ko alam na ganun pala ang Facebook Live so I learned my lesson. I guess I was too uncensored when I did it sa dressing room namin. Hindi ko alam na inu-upload pala yun. So ayun okay lang, charge it to experience. But pag mga ganun kasi you upload it and hindi mo na maalis sa YouTube yun. What people see there, you know that’s the real thing. Yun ang uso eh. Just for the sake of your viewers di ba?” he admitted.

The 39-year-old actor, who doesn’t even have his own Facebook account, admitted he did not realize how people would react to the video and still has no idea what people have been saying about him in social media. 'Wala akong Facebook eh. Dun ko nga lang nalaman yung Faceook Live eh. I have no idea kung ano yung mga comments. It was on Luis’s account so kung meron mang mga nagsalita dun ng kung anu-ano, mas maganda na yung hindi ko alam di ba?” he said.
