010217-Paolo_PUSH.jpgMetro Manila Film Festival 2016 Best Actor Paolo Ballesteros has no qualms in case his only daughter Keira Claire wants to enter show business.

In fact, he revealed in an interview with PEP, that she currently has a modeling contract in the US.

'Nagpirma siya ng modeling agency sa Chicago, so sabi ko naman, go!” he shared.

The Die Beautiful star stressed that he would gladly support whatever his daughter wants to do.

'Gusto niya mag-artista. Maarte din eh. Nahuhuli ko sa bahay kinakausap ang sarili sa salamin, uma-acting-acting,” he shared.

Keira just turned eight last month and is currently living in Chicago with her mother, Paolo’s ex-girlfriend Maria Katrina Nevada.

'Magka-birthday pa kami so yung artistic side ko, nakukuha niya,' he added.

But the actor didn’t deny that some people from the country are already approaching him for Keira.

'Dito maraming kumukuha, kaya lang nasa Chicago nga, nag-aaral.'

While he hasn’t said yes or no to anyone yet, Paolo assured that he wouldn’t keep his daughter away from such offers.

'Sa susunod na lang, pag-uwi na lang,' he reiterated.

While most celebrity parents want their kids to shy away from the industry, Paolo is doing otherwise.

'Kasi ako, if I were given a chance nung bata ako, bagets pa lang ako gusto ko nang mag-artista. So I guess ganun din ang nararamdaman niya,” he explained.

He continued, 'With her, if there is a chance at gusto naman niya, and di naman mako-compromise ang school, studies, go for it.”
