Daniel Matsunaga and Heart Evangelista bumped into each other again at the annual Star Magic Ball. The ex-couple happily mingled with other celebrities, as their paths have crossed at the event. In an interview with PUSH, Daniel stressed that they always remained friends even after they parted ways.

“We still talk, no problem. You know it’s very nice to end our relationship as friends. And you know we still talk and Heart she’s super nice and I’m very happy for her and Chiz (Escudero), for everything that’s happening for her, so many blessings for her shows and everything,” Daniel said.

Daniel also said hi to Heart’s husband Sen. Chiz Escudero at the event. The actor relayed that he was already introduced to the senator before.

Meanwhile, it’s Daniel’s fourth Star Magic Ball and the actor remarked that he always looks forward to attending the event every year.

“Masaya kasi this event is always awesome to see all the artists are available di ba? Because normally sobrang busy lahat. Pero one a year we get to have this party and we see everybody together having fun,” he said.

Meanwhile, the last time Heart Evangelista attended the ball was in 2014. This year she returned to join in the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Star Magic.
