EXCLUSIVE: Teddy Corpuz shares how he prepared for his second wedding with wife Jasmin on live TV

<div> </div>Host-vocalist Teddy Corpuz surprised the nation when he proposed and married his wife Jasmin a second time during their Magpasikat performance on <a href="http://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/itsshowtime/main">It’s Showtime</a> on Tuesday, October 17. In an interview with PUSH right after the wedding, Teddy shared that he has long planned the event. “Actually, naisip namin ni Jugs (his groupmate along with Vice Ganda) last year pa kaya lang parang feeling namin, ‘nung seventh year, hindi pa time. Mas maganda ‘yung tiyempo ng eighth year para infinity… So tinago namin ‘yun last year pa. Actually, nawala lang ‘yung video eh na meron kaming parang kinoconceptualize namin na ito ‘yung proof na last year pa namin ginawa, kinonceptualize ‘yung wedding,” he recalled, saying that during that time, they have not thought of the other parts of their performance yet such as Vice’s reverse poetry. Teddy and Jasmin have been married through civil rites for 11 years already. According to him, he started preparing and saving up for their wedding ring last January. “Kasi hindi ako pwedeng magwithdraw ng pera nang hindi niya nalalaman so sumali akong paluwagan, nag-iipon ako sa gig namin… Nagbenta ako ng gitara para do’n. Nagbenta ako ng sapatos… One year kong inipon,” the Rocksteddy vocalist said. <div><img alt="" src="https://push-data.abs-cbn.com/push/push/media/2017/00101717/teddy-2.jpg"/></div>Speechless, Jasmin said that she was very surprised as she has no idea of his plan at all. Teddy, who also kept it a secret from their two kids, simply told them that they will be doing a pictorial for fellow Showtime host Anne Curtis’ upcoming wedding. “Sabi ko, kailangan natin gumawa ng isang fake na pictorial na surprise pictorial para kay Anne sa lahat ng mga Showtime hosts na may asawa. Si tiyang Amy, si Karylle, si Coleen, ikakasal din… Si Anne, si Andie, ‘yung asawa rin ni Jugs. Lahat ng mga babaeng asawa, meron silang wedding gown pictorial. ‘Yun ‘yung alam niya. Hindi ko rin sinabi sa mga anak ko kasi alam kong madaldal ‘yung mga ‘yun, eh,” he narrated, admitting that the jitters intensify as the date approaches, worrying that his secret will be revealed. As for their honeymoon, they will be travelling to Europe in December. “Every year naman kasi talaga, nag-a-out of the country kami, every December so isasabay na rin namin ‘yung honeymoon ‘dun.”Teddy and Jasmin have two children – Angelica Phoebe who is 10 years old and Theodore John who is 5. Both were very happy that Angelica Phoebe even cried when her parents exchanged ‘I dos.’ Speaking of kids, do they have plans to have another baby again? “Ako, gusto ko pa. Under negotiations pa raw, sabi niya,” Teddy laughingly referred to his wife.
