The X-Factor journey has come to an end for Alisah Bonaobra as Sharon Osbourne eliminates her during the Judges’ Houses round.

The 22-year-old sang Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down” in front of Sharon and her children Jack and Kelly, as her final piece. The X-Factor judge worried because despite Alisah being a ‘clean’ singer, the Pinay performer lacked versatility.

“Every time we hear her sing, she’s been consistent. The only reason I didn’t put her through – she was out, she was in – because every song she sang was like Whitney Houston or Disney song, which you cannot do week after week because it becomes cheese fest,” Sharon commented after Alisah’s performance.

In the end however, Sharon chose singer-songwriter Grace Davies over Alisah for the last spot in her final three performers who will compete in the Live Shows.

“This is a very hard decision for me. A very hard decision. And I didn’t come to it lightly,” Sharon began to an already crying Alisah. “I’m sorry but I’m gonna be sending you home.”
