During the store opening of Kathnails by KCMB salon held last November 19 at the Mall of Asia, Kathryn Bernardo said she is happy to be a businesswoman now. “It’s a very special day. In just six months, ito yung second branch. Soon doon kami naman sa Cloverleaf two weeks from now. Yun naman ang third branch namin. Hindi ako nag-expect na ganito kabilis lahat ng mangyayari. Ngayon namin na-realize na ang daming tao na tumutulong sa amin dito sa business na ito. I’m very happy kasi successful naman siya. So far so good,” she shared.

The La Luna Sangre star admitted she and her mom Min have set goals for the Kathnails expansion program. “Kung mag-tuloy tuloy ito and fingers crossed, meron kaming 2020-30 plan. That means sana by 2020 magkaroon kami ng 30 branches. So hopefully mag tuloy-tuloy siya. So parang nine branches per year yun kung gusto namin na ganun. Ngayon kasi hindi lang kami nag-invest sa place na kailangan maganda, hindi lang nag-invest sa furnitures and all. Sabi namin yung mga tao kailangan may training sila and dapat yung mga customers namin ma-relax talaga sila every time they go here and that they also feel at home,” she told PUSH.

Just one day after she walked the runway at the Bench anniversary fashion show, Kath shared her thoughts on the impromptu kiss on her chin from Daniel Padilla that had the fans go wild last Saturday, November 18. “Dapat kasi may props kami dun na may confetti kami na i-pa-pop pero last minute sabi nila wala na kami ipa-pop so parang pose na lang. Parang hindi naman siya planado lahat. Parang na-enjoy lang namin madaming nag-chi-cheer, maraming tao and very special yung Bench fashion show sa amin of course it’s for tito Ben (Chan) kaya masaya kami na naging part kami,” she explained.

The young actress and businesswoman also revealed that unlike before, DJ has become less conservative when it comes to what she wears. “Ako medyo conservative din sa kanya pag masyadong masisikip yung pants niya (laughs). Pero siya ngayon hindi na siya ganun ka-conservative in fairness. Well nagulat siya sabi niya, ‘Masyado ng mababa yung suot mo, ganyan, ganyan.’ Pero wala siyang magagawa, Bench Body yun ano gagawin ko mag-long sleeves? So ayun okay naman siya. Mas lenient na ngayon si DJ surprisingly. So balanced naman kasi naka-pants naman ako at saka cropped top. Hindi naman ako mag-ba-bra and panty talaga. Not yet. So hindi naman uminit yung ulo niya kahapon (laughs),” she admitted.
