<div> </div>At 18 years old, Hillary Diane Andales has already brought pride to the country after winning at the Breakthrough Junior Challenge, a science competition abroad. According to the report of ABS-CBN News, Hillary created a science video as her entry to the competition and bested 11,000 entries from 178 countries. She received $400,000 or 20 million pesos after being declared as the champion. The $100,000 will be used to purchase equipment for their school laboratory, while $50,000 will be handed to her teacher. The remaining $250,000 will be allotted for her college scholarship. “We think na ‘yung physics is all about equations. No, physics is about everything and it matters to everyone,&quot; she said in an interview with ABS-CBN News. She added, &quot;I want to tell people that science is a worthwhile thing to give funds to.”
