In Marie Lozano’s report on TV Patrol, Kapamilya Star Julia Montes recently signed a three-year contract with ABS-CBN. While taping for Wansapanataym, she is also preparing for her future projects.

“Hindi lang kailangang maging physically ready – mentally and emotionally. I can say, new version of Julia.”

Fans of the actress are waiting for her to do a guest appearance in Coco Martin’s teleserye, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Asked what kind of role she’d like to have on the show, she replied, “Siguro, gusto ko maiba. Action-filled yung mga gagawin kasi sa drama parang medyo nagawa na po natin.”

Coco has been linked to his leading lady on the show, Yassi Pressman, and in a previous interview, Julia commented that Yassi and Coco are great together. Yassi expressed her gratitude towards the actress saying, “nakakatuwa kung bagay.”

To this, Julia awkwardly replied, “Kasi parang hindi ko alam isasagot ko, “ Julia added. “Hindi, super okay naman sila atsaka nakakakilig.”

Her love team with Coco started in 2012 in their teleserye, Walang Hanggan. They have managed to remain friends throughout the years. “Okay po kami. Super okay,” the actress shared. “Yun lang, sadyang busy lang talaga hindi pa rin nagkikita. Sabi ko nga ‘di ba pag may best friend ka, even kami ni Kathryn (Bernardo) kahit hindi kami nagkikita lagi, yung closeness andoon pa rin. Siguro ganoon kami ni Coco.”

When asked, “So best friend lang talaga?” Julia replied, “Special din naman siya eh, so yun.” And when further asked if their friendship has leveled up, the actress confirmed, “Yes. Ayun.”
