After sharing sweet photos of their trip to Phuket last November, Luis Manzano admitted he can’t wait to go back to Thailand with girlfriend Jessy Mendiola where they enjoyed the beach and undergoing Muay Thai training. “Definitely Thailand is on the radar again. Nag-e-enjoy kami dun eh sa mga ginagawa naming training and the fact that we get to relax so it’s on the radar. For April and May meron kaming mga beach trips planned. Gumagawa kami ng time. I think that she’s very busy so we have to put in that extra effort to spend time with each other,” he shared during his Century Corned Tuna presscon held last March 9 in Makati city.

Luis revealed that even at this early stage in their relationship, he is happy that Jessy is comfortable with his family. “Two Sundays ago we had dinner with the family. It’s casual, organic, no pretensions. Natural lang. Nagkukulitan, nagku-kuwentuhan ng mga kalokohan. Ganyan kami pag nagsama-sama na. I’m very, very happy. They’re getting along. Oo naman. Sobra. We’re still fairly new. Kasi sabihin na lang natin the first time I got to hang out with her talaga was my birthday which was April 21 of last year. That’s the first time we got to sit down and hang out. So we’re fairly new,” he added.

The Minute to Win It host also shared what makes his current relationship different from his past ones. “First time ko magkaroon ng ganito kalaking age gap. Kasi to be honest I’m 35 and she’s 24 so that’s 11 years but it’s close to 12 because I’m turning 36 in April. I guess yung different outlooks namin sa buhay matches. Bilang bata pa siya talaga iba yung mentality niya. Yung sa akin naman being on the old side but we still get along. Nakakagulat lang. You’d think na dahil bata yan we’re not on the same wavelength pero we are,” he explained.

Despite receiving mixed reactions from their fans online, Luis divulged one of the qualities he loves most about the Kapamilya actress. “Jessy is very, very thoughtful. In fact nagulat na nga ako nung Valentine’s Jessy sent flowers on her own kay mommy. Ako hindi ko nagawa, hindi ko nabigyan ng flowers yun. Nagulat na lang ako my mom sent me a message saying, ‘Please thank Jessy for me.’ Pero she also messaged Jessy,” he said.
