Daniel Matsunaga is happily single. After his breakup with Erich Gonzales, the actor has been focusing his time on his family and friends who are his source of joy at the moment.

“I am enjoying the family, I am enjoying our friends right now. Focus ako sa work, so ‘yung puso ko I leave it to God’s hands.” Daniel also pointed out that he has already put the past behind him. “I’ve moved on already, you know, right now work is my priority, family is my priority,” he stated.

He stressed that he is not looking for love at the time being. “You know, there’s always the right time, the right person and ‘yun nga kailangan ko maghintay lang. I am not looking for someone right now so hintay-hintay,” he said.

Besides spending time with his loved ones, work has been occupying Daniel’s time lately. After his hit series Be My Lady, he became part of the reality television entertainment competition program I Can Do That. “So [I’m] busy and busy is good and I am really trying to focus sa mga skills ko, sa mga tagalog ko so ngayon sana tuloy-tuloy.”

The actor attended Star Magic’s 25th anniversary celebration last Sunday, May 21, at the Big Dome. Daniel remarked that he has always felt that he is part of a family with the talent management agency.

“Second year ko with Star Magic. It has been an awesome experience. They have been treating me as a family and I’m also enjoying work with them and amazing ‘yung experience,” he said.
