Ian Veneracion on his wife Pam: ‘I’m sure kung nagse-selos man siya, hindi niya ipapakita sa akin’

<div style="text-align:center"> </div>On <a href="http://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/tonightwithboyabunda/main">Tonight with Boy Abunda</a>, one of the lead stars of the hit teleserye <a href="http://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/alovetolast/main">A Love To Last</a>, Ian Veneracion, shared how happy and proud he is that Pam, his wife of 20 years, is not the jealous type and is secure with their relationship.“Kaya nga ako nacha-challenge kasi sobrang confident. I’m sure kung nagse-selos man siya, hindi niya ipapakita sa akin. For example, yung first scene namin ni Bea (Alonzo) na nagkiss kami—kinuwento ko yung eksena. Habang kinukwento ko, nakangiti siya. Sabi ko, ‘kinikilig ka ba? Dapat nagse-selos ka! Asawa kita! Hindi ka dapat kinikilig.’ Tapos tawa lang siya.”He added, “Sa tingin ko through the years nakuha ko na rin naman yung tiwala niya. Alam naman niya na behave naman ako.”Despite Ian’s fame, his wife chooses to remain behind the scenes. He explained, “She’s very private and sinasabi niya na, ‘kunwari may picture, lalaitin naman ako. Alam ko naman.’ Kasi no matter what she does of course those rooting for Bea and me, or for Jodi (Sta. Maria) and me, sabi niya, ‘alam ko naman na lalaitin lang ako. Kaya bakit pa, di ba?’” The actor has never had any qualms with regards to death. As he said, “For me in order to live life to the fullest you have to not have issues with death. That’s why I go skyping, I’m willing to go scuba ping with sharks and do all sorts of stuff. Because at the end of the day if something happens to me, my kids will understand that, in my mind, it was worth it.” With that, he already instructed his family on what’s to be written on his epitaph. “Here lies a man who lived life to the fullest and his last words were, ‘life is too *toot* short!’”
