On Tonight with Boy Abunda, Inigo Pascual explained who Maris Racal is in his life.

“Ever since we met, ever since day one. Tanda ko pa ang first tweet ko sa kanya. I was like, ‘Hi im Inigo, this is an awkward way to say hi but hello.’ It was on Twitter.”

Asked more pointedly for the status of his relationship with Maris, Inigo said, “kasi di ba my Dad was in PBB before. He guested. And that was when the whole MarNigo started and ever since, that was about three or four years ago, and every time may fan meet palaging may cake na MarNigo. And this was the first time na nabigyan kami ng chance na mag-collab. It was the first time dancing with her on ASAP a couple of weeks ago. And I’m just happy, I’m supportive of anyone who I see is passionate with whatever they’re doing.”

Asked if he loves Maris, Inigo maintained, “love is not something that should be rushed. It’s something that happens when it happens.”

Host Boy Abunda also gave his opinion of the MarNigo tandem. “This is my take. You guys are starting to fall in love with each other and there’s nothing wrong with it.”
