Sofia Andres made the surprising revelation that she and actor Inigo Pascual became a couple for three years during her guest appearance on ABS-CBN’s online show Kapamilya Chat on Tuesday, August 22.

When asked about a previous interview where she admitted that Inigo “broke her heart,” Sofia openly revealed her reason.

“Kasi bata pa kami no’n, 14 (years old) ako. Siya, 15. Tapos three years kami… na kami. Puro text lang kami,” she added, confirming that they were together as boyfriend and girlfriend.

Realizing what she just revealed, the Pusong Ligaw actress then laughingly said, “Past is past. Okay lang ‘yun.”

She even shared a tidbit of their relationship by narrating a time when they watched a movie together with their mothers accompanying them.

Sofia then proceeded to tell how Inigo “broke her heart.”

“There was a time, ‘nung nag-18 siya, tumawag siya. After ‘nung (Star Magic) ball, September 12, birthday (niya) September 14, tumawag siya na parang gusto niya raw munang i-enjoy ‘yung life niya, ‘yung parang youth.”

When asked if Inigo broke up with her through phone, Sofia lightheartedly answered, “Eh kasi ‘dun naman kami… three years na kaming nagtetext, eh.”

She also admitted feeling hurt. “Syempre I got hurt. Parang I don’t know why. Parang just randomly. Tumawag siyang gano’n. Kasi 18 siya so syempre naging excited siya, free siya, ganyan. Tapos nag-Spain siya. Bumalik siya rito. Hindi niya ako kinausap for six months. And then, nakaka-sad pero naiintindihan ko naman. Hindi naman ako nagtanim ng galit sa kanya kasi that’s normal. Part of growing up.”

However, she revealed that Inigo, after they became friends again, wanted them to get back together. “Tapos ‘nun, okay na. Naging friends na kami ulit. Tapos bumabalik siya, eh gusto kong mag-enjoy din,” she laughingly said.

Nonetheless, she said that she and Inigo are very good friends now. “’Pag kunwari may problema siya, may problema ako, usap kami. Ganu’n lang. Kasi ako nakakakilala sa kanya, eh.”
