<div> </div><p>Marlo Mortel confessed that it has been a difficult journey as his mother battles cancer. Despite the challenges, the actor has remained strong and optimistic. </p><p>“Well <em>mahirap talaga, sobrang hirap kasi ang daming nangyari sa kanya, hindi lang</em> Stage 4 (cancer), <em>nagka-open</em> heart surgery, <em>nakailang </em>operations <em>so hirap</em> emotionally, and well ang <em>nafe-feel ko lang ngayon</em> is <em>malungkot pero kailangang lumaban. Besides his hosting stint, Marlo has been working on new songs for the repackaging of the album of the Harana band. “<em>Meron kaming </em>solo songs <em>din </em>and <em>meron kaming </em>brand new songs,” he stated.</p><p>He also attended the recently-concluded <em>MOR Pinoy Music Awards 2017</em>. “<em>Dahil </em>passion <em>ko talaga ang</em> music and to be given the chance <em>na kumanta dito</em> is very precious to me l<em>alo na pag kasama ko ‘yung mga kabanda ko na Harana</em>,” he said during the event.</p><p>The actor also shared that he is planning to work on his solo album soon. “<em>Sa ngayon lang nagpla-plan na ako gumawa ng </em>album soon of course with Star Music,” he stated.</p>
