Hashtags member Ryle Santiago is the new face of Cherub baby care products, which was launched last January 18.

While he now endorses a family-oriented brand, many may not know how much Ryle values his family ties.

He is the son of actress Sherilyn Reyes-Tan and media executive Riley Santiago, who is the brother of actors Randy, Rowell, and Raymart Santiago. His paternal grandparents (now deceased) were Pablo Santiago who directed several Fernando Poe Jr. movies and Cielito Legaspi who was an actress in the ‘60s.

Being a part of a showbiz family, Ryle could not help but be proud of his lineage. “’Pag nakikita ko ‘yung mga tito ko, siyempre astig ‘yun mga ‘yun, di ba? May lineage ako sa kanila. May important mark na iniwan sila sa showbiz, sobrang humahanga ako sa kanila dahil sa mga naiambag nila sa industriya natin.”

Saying that he is proud of his uncle Randy, he mentioned having the latter’s iconic song “Babaero” in the first album of Hashtags.
