After the success of Signal Rock, Christian Bables returns to his comedic roots with the romantic comedy Recipe of Love under Regal Films where he plays the role of a chef who falls for a vlogger (played by Coraleen Waddell).

On television, Christian is also enjoying being part of the hit primetime series Halik and appreciates all the positive feedback the show has been receiving. Sa set sobrang gaan katrabaho ng lahat, from the director to the staff to my co-actors, nag-e-enjoy lang kaming lahat. Ngayon na sobrang naka-relate yung mga tao, which is yun naman ang goal namin na makapaghatid ng katotohanan sa mga tao, I’m happy na na-appreciate niyo lang. May pasabog yung character ko so abang abang lang sila kasi come late November or mid-December, gugulong na yung storya ng character ko. So nakaka-excite,” he shared.

Because of his prominent features especially his nose, some netizens couldn’t help but question if Christian has undergone any plastic surgery. The talented actor laughed off rumors and explained how he got his features. “Diyos ko po. To tell you honestly, medyo nakakatawa na lang kasi may mga ganito pero though I don’t have to explain, my mom is Spanish. My lolo is pure Espanyol.

The Recipe For Love star could not hide his feelings about constantly having to defend his natural features, admitting that even when he was younger he was being called “Pinocchio” in school. Gawa kaya yung ilong niyan or hindi?’ Kahit naman mag-before and after photo sila ganito pa rin ang makikita nila eh. Kahit ipakita ko yung picture nung bata ako. I cannot believe I’m defending my nose di ba?” he added.
