Albert Martinez overjoyed by daughter Alissa’s recent engagement

Albert Martinez can’t be any happier for the successful engagement of her daughter, Alissa Martinez, to her longtime partner, Paulus Reyes.

The couple announced the good news on Instagram last Monday, along with snapshots of the breathtaking proposal set on a hill overlooking the ocean.

In a lengthy caption, the veteran actor couldn’t help but get all sentimental thinking about her daughter finally getting married.

“Tears of joy. I look at you and do not see the passage of time. I see my little girl playing dress up, running through the yard, running around with the dogs, hugging your mama all day long. I will try and respect the fact that you’re older now and that the decisions you will make are your own, but you must understand that to me, you will always be my little girl. I may not be able to carry you in my arms anymore, but I will always carry you in my heart. I love you, my princess,” said Albert of Alissa, who appears to have broken the news personally to her father during the taping of his upcoming television series, “The General’s Daughter”.

Aside from Alissa, Albert have two other children with his late wife, Liezel Martinez, Alyanna and Alfonso.
