Ryan Bang’s recent appearance on Video Star for their Made in Korea special brought about hilarious moments for hosts and viewers alike of the South Korean talk show.

Once, when the panel was on the subject of Twice’s ‘TT’, the 27-year-old Kapamilya celebrity elicited laughter with his amusing explanation as to why the song, despite being a global hit, is considered explicit for television viewers back in his home country.

This, after Korean pop dancer Lia Kim teased a few moves that she herself choreographed especially for the song.

Having been noticed by hosts and fellow guests for his sudden awkwardness, Ryan was prompted to share that ‘TT’, in Filipino, is synonymous to an informal word that pertains to a man’s private parts – leaving everyone, especially Lia, stunned.

In another scene, Ryan also talked about former 2NE1 member and fellow Korean celebrity in the Philippines, Sandara Park, particularly on their friendship that started when he was still a “no-name” in showbiz.

“Starting from when I was a no-name celebrity, [Sandara] would treat me to a meal and took such good care of me whenever I came to Korea,” shared the It’s Showtime host.

While he’s at it, Ryan revealed a surprising fact about Sandara’s dating life as well – one that is rarely heard of about the international pop star ever since.

“The top MC, the top actor, the top singer, they all like Sandara Park. She’s not the style to meet someone individually because of her shy personality, so she invites the guys that like her together and sits here. From there, the most assertive guy will…I don’t know! I’ve only seen until then,” said the actor.
