After turning up at Karylle and Yael Yuzon’s lovely wedding ceremony in 2014, Vice Ganda went home with a memory he would never forget for the life of him – not with the celebrity couple in particular, but with, of all people, veteran musician Jose Mari Chan.

Earlier this week, Vice narrated his first awkward encounter with the “Christmas In Our Hearts” singer on It’s Showtime during the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” segment. “Eh ‘di inaantay ‘yung mga pagkain, eh nasi-CR ako. Sabi ko sa kasama kong bakla, ‘Bakla, samahan mo ‘ko, CR tayo,” began the Fantastica star.
Earlier this week, Vice narrated his first awkward encounter with the “Christmas In Our Hearts” singer on It’s Showtime during the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” segment. “Eh ‘di inaantay ‘yung mga pagkain, eh nasi-CR ako. Sabi ko sa kasama kong bakla, ‘Bakla, samahan mo ‘ko, CR tayo,” began the Fantastica star.
“[‘Pag-labas ko dun sa cubicle], ‘Bakla, ang tagal mo,’ sabi ko dun sa kaibigan ko, kasi mag-isa na lang ako. ‘Ang tagal mo, tapos na ako, ikaw pa inaantay ko ngayon.’ Tapos ‘di sumasagot.”
“[‘Pag-labas ko dun sa cubicle], ‘Bakla, ang tagal mo,’ sabi ko dun sa kaibigan ko, kasi mag-isa na lang ako. ‘Ang tagal mo, tapos na ako, ikaw pa inaantay ko ngayon.’ Tapos ‘di sumasagot.”

Vice, then getting impatient, started to bang the door of the cubicle where he suspected his friend was in, and when he got no answer, he reached for a “tabo” to wet the said companion through beneath the door as a prank. “Tapos, nag-ayos ako ng buhok. [Sabi ko], ‘Bakla ka, ako pa talaga pinag-antay mo.’ ‘Paglabas sa cubicle si Jose Mari Chan,” recalled the comedian, after which co-hosts Anne Curtis and Mariel Padilla both gasped in horror.
