Sa Tonight with Boy Abunda, inamin ni Roxanne Barcelo na hiwalay na sila ni Will Devaughn. “A few months ago. And I’m not going to butter it up. But it’s really, we both needed to grow.”

Patuloy naman daw ang pagiging magkaibigan nila ni Wil. “We’re still friends. I learned from him. One of the takeaways from that relationship is to never worry. He taught me that.”

Pinasalamatan din niya ang host na si Boy Abunda kasi diumano ito ang dahilan kung bakit nasa showbiz pa siya ngayon. Muntikan na daw noon mag-quit ng showbiz si Roxanne para magbenta na lang ng condominiums. “I went to church and I was praying fervently. One foot was out of the door, the other foot was inside the church still. Nag-ring ang telepono ko.”

Tinawagan diumano siya ni Phillip Roxas (assistant ni Boy) at sinabing, “Mare, pwede ka ba bukas? Kasi mawawala si Bianca for two weeks to a month… kailangan mo mag-host ng Pinoy Up Late and Pinoy Update ng Dream Academy … “

Namroblema pa diumano si Roxanne dahil kailangan niya magbenta ng condo kinabukasan kung kaya, “I called my mom. Sabi niya, ‘Anak, ano ka ba? ‘Wag ka na magbenta ng condo. Signal yan. Yan yung sign ni Lord sa ‘yo agad-agad.

Sinabi naman ni Roxanne kay Boy. “I can say na it was because of you. Because you were the one who suggested my name daw po and I will forever be grateful because you were the one who gave me that opportunity to stay.” Sagot naman ni Boy kay Roxanne, “I was just an instrument siguro.”
