KZ has definitely wowed the international stage during her oustanding performance of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" at China's biggest singing competition on TV, Singer 2018.

Because of this, she bested out world-renowned singer Jessie J, who has been the top contender in the previous weeks, in the said episode that aired on Friday, February 9.

According to KZ's management Cornerstone, the China team intially suggested a different song for KZ to perform. However, they pushed for it as KZ wants to rap in Tagalog for her first show appearance.

Although KZ and Jessie are deemed competitions on the show, the "Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako" singer got starstruck when she saw the "Price Tag" singer for the first time by accident. Jessie was on her way to the restroom when she passed by KZ's dressing room.
