With her Star Cinema debut project Sin Island now showing in theaters nationwide, Nathalie Hart (formerly Princess Snell) said that she is ready to bare her sexy side again after being part of the 2016 erotic indie thriller Siphayo. “Shocking I understand. Even my mom hasn’t seen the film so parang ibig sabihin shocking talaga siya. Actually even my family hasn’t seen it because they don’t want to. Siyempre pag family mo kasi they don’t want to see that kind of side of you,” she shared.

Nathalie admitted she was more comfortable taking her clothes off in front of the camera now than in her previous film. “When I did this film it was easier for me to do kasi siyempre meron na akong past history and I guess hindi na ako iiyak sa toilet because every time that I was doing scenes in that film I would go to the toilet and cry and think ‘ayoko na’. Here it’s like whatever, sisiw na lang. I’m not doing more films like this though. I’m doing comedy as well so I’m so happy that it’s changing and nakikita rin nila na I can do other things too which is great,” she recalled.

The outspoken actress said she does not want to be typecast as just a sexy actress and wants her other merits to be recognized as well.

Siguro nakita nila kung paano ako siguro um-acting or magpalibog sa tao. Of course if they hire you for a specific role na sexy then parang dapat mukhang totoo na malandi ka talaga or something. That’s why they hired me kasi siguro alam nila na mabibigay ko rin yung kailangan nila doon sa pelikula. I had really hot scenes with Xian (Lim). I think they would like it. I really believe even other countries and other nationalities will enjoy this film,” she explained.

She shared how difficult it is to break out of the mold. “Diyos ko ‘day kasi ang hirap din makawala. Iniisip nila kasi kapag sexy ka sexy lang makukuha mo. That’s how people are kasi mahirap ma-break yung mentality ng tao. So happy ako na kahit papaano na-break ko yun sa pagiging babaeng bakla ko in real life talaga and people know na it’s easier to do comedy with me kasi wala akong pakialam,” she said.

Nathalie is also busy wrapping up another movie project, this time with Diether Ocampo. “Last day of shooting na kami so we’re so excited,” she added.
