Actress Gretchen Barretto’s only daughter Dominique Cojuangco has been captivating the hearts of many netizens not only because of her beauty but also because of her talent for fashion designing. In June of last year, Dominique debuted her first collection called &quot;La Dona&quot; as a fashion designer. She tapped her mother to as her mused for the collection. She also received a degree in fashion design at Istituto Marangoni in London last July, much to the delight of her proud parents.In an interview with Preview.ph last year, Dominique explained the concept behind her first collection. “With emphasis on the word ‘inspired,’ I wanted my clothing to exude the elegance of a Filipina woman without blatantly screaming where I took my inspiration from. I looked at photographs of ‘old’ and ‘new’ Manila for color, using a vivid palette because Filipinos are known for their bright and sunny dispositions,” she told the fashion website.In November, Dominique attended the Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris not only to celebrate fashion but also to raise social awareness.
