Nathalie Hart on her ideal man: ‘Gusto ko joker yung lalake’

Playing a seductress in the Star Cinema film Sin Island is no easy feat but Nathalie Hart plays it so naturally that it’s a surprise that it is different from her real life persona. “I’ve always been babaeng bakla. I have two gay brothers in my life so that means I’m more open and more liberated. So siguro to my character babaeng bakla din naman ako dito which is very me. Pero yung totoong personality ko it’s very different gusto ko lagi masaya and everything. This girl is very not me, it’s very negative. I don’t like negativity in my life. I’m always positive so hindi ako si Tasha talaga,” she explained.

The 25-year-old actress said she does not want to be typecast as just a sexy star. “Well now I’m doing comedy and I’m so happy that I’m not sexy in that part. I’m doing another project na comedy din so I’m so happy na I’m not really just that. Siguro dito lang ako nagsimula sa pagpapa-sexy pero lahat naman nagsisimula somewhere di ba? Siguro ang opportunity na nabigay sa akin is ito talaga and then ngayon ko lang napapakita yung puwede kong talagang gawin sa industriyang ito. In a way na parang doon lang ako nagsimula ulit para mapansin ako,” she explained.

Currently single, Nathalie said she is has no physical requirements for Mr. Right. “My ideal guy is very funny, has a great sense of humor, very smart, he has to be very educated kasi papatayin ko siya (laughs). How they look like doesn’t bother me as long as mas matangkad sila sa akin and they have a great sense of humor. Gusto ko joker yung lalake,” she said.

When at home, Nathalie said she is very quiet kind of person. “Sa bahay I’m very relaxed. Ayoko na may kausap, wala lang. I like to be alone actually. I’m a loner pero hindi lang halata,” she added.

The Sin Island actress admitted there have been advantages and disadvantages of having a reputation as a sexy actress. “Siyempre there’s disadvantages in terms of my private life kasi sa mga na-mi-meet kong tao especially sa lalake it’s hard for them to understand my job. Of course I’m very insecure in that aspect na sometimes it’s hard for me to find a proper partner kasi hindi nila matanggap yung trabaho ko. Pero the positive thing about it is ako yung unang naiisip ng tao in a way na hindi ka yung second person. It’s a nice thing as well na nabibigay ko yung gusto nila,” she explained.
