Rufa Mae Quinto was elated to be reunited with Ogie Alcasid whom she got to work with at a different network many years ago. Both are now part of the Saturday sitcom Home Sweetie Home. “Nakaka-miss [siya]. Last time ko siyang nakita, na naka-eksena [matagal na]. Tapos nong nagka-show siya dito puro singing-singing. Kung hindi singing, judging o hosting so parang nakaka-miss, alam mo ‘yun nakaka-miss pala talaga magpatawa [with him],” she said.

Rufa added that it is such a breeze doing comedy with Ogie since they have already worked together in the past. So ‘yun parang sabi ko so ibang klase ngayon lalo ‘yung comedy na maibibigay kasi parang ang tagal naming inantay ‘to,” she relayed.

The comedienne became part of the Kapamilya network last year. She relayed that she did not expect it that it would happen all of the sudden.

Rufa relayed that it was her husband, Filipino-American Trevor Magallanes, who encouraged her to go back to show business. “Siya ‘yung nagpabalik sa akin kasi naniniwala siya na this is my destiny,” she shared.
