Kamile Filoteo opens up about her five-year-old daughter: ‘She always makes me proud’

After being launched as one of the first Philippine ambassadors of an international clothing brand, Kamile Filoteo admits she feels lucky and proud to be one of its chosen endorsers. “First time ng Forever 21 kumuha ng brand ambassador in the Philippines. Until now hindi pa rin nag-si-sink in sa akin na ambassador kasi siyempre American brand and famous siya so sobrang saya,” she shared during the “We Are Forever 21” press launch held last April 21 in SM Megamall.

After joining Pinoy Big Brother as a housemate in 2015, Kamile said she has matured a lot as a mom to her now five-year-old daughter.

“She’s good naman. Nasa Bulacan siya ngayon nagbabakasyon. Sinusulit niya yung bakasyon. Okay naman sobrang saya kasi ang talino niya. She always makes me proud, sobra. Nagulat ako kasi sinundo ko siya tapos bigla niyang hiniram yung phone ko. Sabi ko, ‘What are you going to do?’ tapos pumunta siya sa YouTube tapos may tiningnan siyang mga videos na nag-su-Zumba, kabisado niya yung sayaw. Sobrang nagulat ako. Tapos marunong din siya kumanta,” she shared.

When she is in mommy mode, the GirlTrends member revealed she does not want to become too strict on her daughter.

“Ako yung mommy na hindi ako masyadong strict kasi I’ve been there eh. So parang pag mas lalong naging strict mas parang naguguluhan sila. So dapat for me huwag masyadong strict kasi galing ako dun so mahirap. Pag may anak ka priorities talaga unahin mo. Yung lahat ng gagawin ko is para sa kanya, para sa family ko,” she explained.

Kamile recently posted on social media that she is now officially dating Derrick So, who was part of the cast of the teleserye Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw.
