In his latest comedy film, Paolo Ballesteros said he felt secure working with Eric Quizon who is making his directorial comeback after nine years with their Regal Films Mother’s Day offering My 2 Mommies. “Ang kaibahan ni direk Eric kasi artista niya eh. Napapanood ko yung mga pelikula niya before, alam niya kung ano yung itsura na maganda, kumbaga ung ano yung maaapektuhan yung manunuod. Kasi siguro bilang artista din siya ang hirap na naghihintay, so he’s very considerate,” Paolo said.

Paolo admitted he almost could not believe it when Eric compared him to his late father, the undisputed King of Comedy Dolphy. “Humbling kumbaga, yung marinig mo ang ganun maikumpara sa isang Dolphy, galing pa sa anak niya. And nakakatuwa talaga,” he added.

In the film, Paolo plays the college best friend of Solenn Heussaff who he unknowingly has a love child with. “I’ve worked with her kasi kasama ko siya sa Eat Bulaga before, she’s very professional na kahit galing pa siya sa ibang shooting or trabaho, diretso siya sa shooting namin, walang diva diva, walang magpapahintay or magpapahinga or whatever, kahit walang upuan kaya niyang mag-makeup ng naka-salampak sa salamin. Tapos acting-wise, we know naman na medyo ano yung Tagalog niya pero she’s trying her best. Magaling sa acting,” he said.

The two co-stars also recently did videos that went viral when they tried to do a makeup transformation of each other which their fans both loved. “Bilib ako sa kanya kasi kuha niya agad and knowing her, she’s a professional makeup artist and a very creative person. So nakakatuwa pala yung ako naman yung ginaya. May mga ibang fans din ako sa Instagram na ginagaya yung face ko, pero nakakatuwa na makita mo yung isang artista din na gumawa din ng isang makeup transformation tapos ako din yung ginawa,” he admitted.

On the My 2 Mommies set, the talented actor shared why he almost got conscious working with the sexy Fil-Frenlch actress. “Si Solenn mahirap siya tapatan kasi maganda siya eh (laughs). Kahit anong isuot ng lola mo maganda eh. Kahit simpleng nighties parang long gown ang dating. Medyo parang nakakahiya siyang tapatan kasi maganda eh,” he revealed.
