Pinay UK-based trainee lawyer wins Miss Summer World 2018 pageant

<div> </div>Besting over twenty participants from around the world, UK-based Pinay trainee lawyer Kacey Coleen Lim won the 15th edition of the Miss Summer World, making her the first Asian to win the title. In an exclusive interview with PUSH, she thanked each and every Filipino who supported her throughout her journey in the competition. &quot;I would not have been able to do it on my own, so I am forever thankful to a lot of people who have been very supportive to me all along,&quot; she said. While the competition was miles away from the Philippines, she said she felt the love and support from her fellow countrymen. &quot;Malayo man ang contest sa Pilipinas, ramdam ko pa rin ang suporta ng ating mga kababayan,&quot; she stated. Having earned a Political Science degree in the Philippines, Kacey Coleen eventually pursued a Law program at the BPP University Law School in the United Kingdom. She is yet to complete her training to become a full-fledged lawyer in the UK. The Pinay beauty queen also bagged the Best in National Costume and Miss Summer Asia awards. Miss Summer World 2018 was held in Durres, Albania last May 20.
