Meryll Soriano was one of the celebrities who participated in the "Will You Still Love Me" art exhibit last Saturday, July 14. The exhibit is one of the initiatives of "The Julia Buencamino Project," which aims to raise awareness about mental health and spread information about the tools available for those who need them.

In an interview with PUSH and ABS-CBN News, Meryll shared that she herself has suffered from a mental health condition.

"I've been diagnosed with bipolar disorder for 10 years now and it is just now that I am open to speak out about it kasi ngayon lang nagkakaroon ng ganito. You know, we have to break the stigma. We want the people to know na hindi kami mga baliw because that's the common connotation and I am just hopeful na this will start something, that this is a global phenomenon. It's just not here, even in the another place, maybe a third world country, maybe a first world country, there is still stigma so I think there is a community now that is ready and it is so good to be part of that," she stated.

Meryll felt honored to be part of the "Will You Still Love Me" event especially that she personally knows Julia Buencamino.
